RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervises assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines. Collects relevant health data, analyzes assessment findings to determine diagnosis and care issues, and develops intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, provides learning opportunities, and participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
