RN - Emergency Department (Full Time, Day Shift)

Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department according to established standards and the nursing process. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, then develops and implements intervention plans to attain patient outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe environment, participates in discharge planning for continuity of care, and delegates duties to team members. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and one year of acute care experience. Full-time day shift position with a $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
