Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards and the nursing process. Supervises and directs activities of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data to determine diagnosis and care issues, develops intervention plans, and evaluates progress toward outcomes. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide safe, humane care, and participates in discharge planning for continuity. Delegates duties appropriately to healthcare team members as assigned. Requires RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and BLS certification. Full-time day shift position with a $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- All required vaccinations
- Access to and reading of E-Verify Participation and Right to Work notices
- Understanding of E-Verify contents
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
- At least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
