Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department by collecting health data, analyzing assessments, and implementing care plans to promote safety. Supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates with healthcare disciplines, and delegates duties appropriately. Collaborates with patients, families, and providers to ensure humane, healing environments while participating in discharge planning for continuity of care. Requires RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and BLS certification. Full-time day shift position with $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
