Job Summary
Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards, supervising assigned staff and coordinating with other disciplines. Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnoses and care issues, developing and implementing intervention plans to promote health and safety. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a caring environment while participating in discharge planning for continuity. Delegates duties appropriately and performs other job-related tasks as assigned. Requires BSN, RN licensure, ACLS/ALS certification, and PALS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS
- at least one year of experience in the specialty for which they are being hired
- all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Acute care facility experience
