Job Summary
RN - Emergency Department, Evenings: Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. Maintain standards of practice and coordinate care activities of assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care. Requires Georgia RN licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS and other unit-specific certifications within specified timeframes. Bachelor's degree preferred; no explicit experience required, with new graduates eligible. Evening shift at Piedmont Henry Hospital, Stockbridge, GA.
Required Qualifications
- RN license in Georgia (state licensure and/or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure) required
- BCLS Basic Life Support required
- Graduate from nursing program required
- New Graduates eligible; experience in hospital setting preferred
- 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions required
- ACLS certification required within 180 days for certain units
- PALS certification required within 180 days for certain units
- NRP/PALS as required by unit within 180 days
- Infusion/Oncology: chemotherapy/biotherapy certification may be required
- Pediatrics: PEARS or PALS required in specified facilities within 180 days
- Womens Services: maternity-related certifications including NRP/PALS within 180 days or orientation periods
Desired Qualifications
