Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for complex, multi-system patients in a safe, therapeutic environment. Gather data through history taking and physical assessment to interpret patient status and identify age-specific needs. Develop, evaluate, and revise patient care plans while administering medications and directing supervision of nursing assistants. Document care progress and teach patients and families regarding discharge preparation and post-procedure management. Manage time and resources to deliver direct patient care while adhering to organizational standards and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- One year prior clinical nursing experience
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
- Must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds
- Must have color vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have far vision
- Must have near vision
- Must have peripheral vision
