RN - Emergency Department

Conduct ongoing patient assessments, establish care plans, and monitor treatment responses while prioritizing emergency situations. Perform triage, stabilize emergencies, and prepare critical cases for transfer to trauma centers. Administer medications safely, operate specialized equipment, and document all findings and treatments in the E.H.R. Discharge patients with appropriate teaching and referrals, and communicate regularly with physicians regarding patient conditions. Assign care to ancillary personnel based on acuity, assist with supply maintenance, and provide education to patients and families. Cross-train to cover general inpatient or outpatient units as needed while maintaining clinical competence and adhering to facility policies.
