Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department by implementing and monitoring patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs. Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care and carry out physician and nursing orders. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions as appropriate while adhering to established policies, procedures, and protocols. Requires weekend schedule (7P - 7A) at St Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN, with up to $15K bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Weekend Option (7P - 7A) schedule availability
