Job Summary
Organize and provide comprehensive care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation on the Med/Surg unit. Lead as a team leader by delegating aspects of care to other nursing personnel based on their licensure and preparation. Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Requires current Minnesota nursing licensure, BCLS certification, and one year of acute Med/Surg experience. This 0.75 FTE role involves 12-hour day/night rotations with every third weekend off. Required Qualifications
- BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
- Current nursing licensure in Minnesota
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
- 1 year Acute Med/Surg RN experience preferred
