Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including Level 1 trauma designation, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure point-of-care safety within a multidisciplinary team approach. This PRN role offers hourly pay ranging from $35.29 to $54.71, dependent on experience. Candidates must hold an RN license with at least six months of experience and certifications such as ENPC, PALS, and BLS. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ENPC or PALS on hire
- TNCC/ATCN within 1 year
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course
- PALS Certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
