Job Summary
Emergency Department RN role providing direct patient care in a level-1 trauma-designated ED. Delivers high-quality, evidence-based nursing using the nursing process within a fast-paced multidisciplinary team. Supports precepting of new staff and ongoing clinical education, maintains certifications (ACLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC, BLS) and ensures safety and quality at point of care. Onsite-only position with shift variety, focusing on direct patient care and ED-level responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved RN program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of RN experience
- ENPC or PALS on hire; TNCC/ATCN within 1 year
- Registered Nurse
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN)
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC/PALS)
- PALS Certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)
- BLS - CPR certification through AHA or Red Cross with card valid through 60 days after start date
