Job Summary
Emergency Services RN role providing patient-centered care in acute care setting. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, administering medications, assisting physicians during procedures, developing care plans, responding to emergencies (e.g., CPR/code team), documenting thoroughly, adhering to infection control and safety standards, and participating in audits and performance improvement to enhance outcomes. Requires 2+ years clinical nursing experience in acute care; RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Location: Palmer, AK (Part-Time, PRN) with stated duties and collaborative healthcare-team responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a clinical nursing role in an acute care setting required
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
