Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in the Emergency Department, managing trauma level 1 designation and adhering to BCEN certification standards. Provide top-of-scope nursing practice utilizing the nursing process, prioritize patient wellness and evidence-based care, and model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff. Work full-time nights (72 hours per pay period) onsite at UCHealth UCHlth Med Ctr of the Rockies, earning a shift incentive of $1,600 quarterly. Requires RN licensure, six months of nursing experience, and certifications including ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, ATCN, ENPC, and CPI.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
- TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
- ATCN certification within 12 months of hire
- ENPC certification within 12 months of hire
- CPI certification within 12 months of hire
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
