Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including Level 1 trauma designation, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure outcomes within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment. This onsite role requires state RN licensure, six months of nursing experience, and certifications in PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, ATCN, and BLS/CPR. Pay ranges from $35.29 to $54.71 per hour based on experience, with a three-year incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits including 403(b) matching and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- PALS Certification
- NIHSS
- TNCC or ATCN
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Trauma Nurse Core Course
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation
