Job Summary
RN ED PRN Evenings provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with policies and procedures, administers prescribed medications, and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team. In Emergency Services, performs rapid assessment/triage, conducts emergency procedures (e.g., intubation, wound care, suturing), stabilizes patients, and supports CPR/code team activities. Maintains infection control, documents thoroughly, and participates in audits and quality-improvement initiatives. Requires 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience and active RN licensure; BCLS required and ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred. Evening PRN schedule in Fort Wayne, IN.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
Desired Qualifications
- 0-2 years clinical nursing experience
- RN licensure in state or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) required
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- NRP preferred
