Job Summary
RN - ED position (PRN) responsible for delivering direct patient care in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process, prioritizing patient care, supervising and coordinating care with home health aides and nursing staff, ensuring informed consent and patient education, collaborating with the care team, maintaining current nursing knowledge and standards, using EPIC charting, and performing on-call triage and visits as needed. Opportunities include tuition/certification reimbursement, loan forgiveness, malpractice coverage, safety programs, and leadership in various lead roles. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS with ADN-based RN licensure in NM or a compact state, in a varied shift environment (Days and Hours).
Required Qualifications
- Degree from accredited nursing program
- Minimum ADN preparation
- State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License required
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS certifications
- ACLS: specified units
- NRP: specified units
- PALS: specified units
- RN licensure in NM or compact state
- ED, Critical Care, CVL, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room certifications
