Job Summary
RN - ED PRN role responsible for directing and delivering direct patient care in the Emergency Department, supervising nursing staff and home health aides, coordinating patient care with families and other disciplines, teaching patients and families about care, and participating in on-call duties and ongoing professional development. The position emphasizes utilization of the nursing process, adherence to standards-based practice, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, use of EPIC electronic charting, and support through education, tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, malpractice insurance, and safety resources. The role requires a degree from an accredited nursing program (minimum ADN), NM or Compact state nursing licensure, and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS). Updated as of 3/15/26. Required Qualifications

- BLS for RN
- ACLS: Emergency Department, Critical Care, Cardiovascular Lab, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Progressive Care, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
- NRP: Family Birthing Center, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Mother/Baby Care
- PALS: Children Services, Cardiovascular Lab, Emergency Department, GI Lab, Interventional Radiology, Surgical Services Pre-Op and Recovery Room
