Job Summary
RN - ED PRN oversees delivery of patient care in the Emergency Department, directs and delegates nursing tasks to staff based on patient needs, ensures informed consent and patient rights, coordinates care with families and interdisciplinary teams, maintains current nursing standards and uses EPIC charting, and supervises home health aides in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid rules. Requires ADN (or higher) from an accredited program, NM/Compact licensure, and certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS.
