Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with multi-system issues in a safe environment. Gather data through history taking and physical assessments to interpret patient status and identify age-specific needs. Develop and revise patient care plans, document progress, and teach patients and families about discharge or procedure preparation. Administer medications, direct nursing assistants, and manage time and resources to deliver care. Maintain sound judgment while adhering to organizational standards and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse - New Hampshire Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- One year prior clinical nursing experience
- Evidence of experience in working effectively and positively with patients, care providers, and the multi-disciplinary team
- Evidence of the ability to perform as a member of a team
- Must regularly lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 pounds
- Must frequently lift, carry or push/pull up to 10 - 25 pounds
- Must occasionally lift, carry or push/pull up to 20 - 50 pounds
- Must have color vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have far vision
- Must have near vision
- Must have peripheral vision
