Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including level 1 trauma designation, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while modeling proficiency through precepting new staff. Contribute to secure quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team environment. This onsite night shift role requires 6 months of RN experience, state licensure, and ACLS certification, with additional certifications like ENPC, PALS, and TNCC preferred. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing (RN) experience
- BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- ACLS preferred at time of hire or within 6 months of hire
- ENPC or PALS within 6 months of hire
- TNCC or ATCN within 1 year of hire
