Job Summary
Provide emergency nursing care in the ED across the WellStar network as part of the W.E.S.T. Float Pool. Responsibilities include comprehensive emergency nursing assessment, triage, intervention, medication administration, collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, rapid response to codes, patient and family education on care and discharge instructions, and accurate documentation in accordance with WellStar standards. Requires 2+ years of ED RN experience, active RN license (GA or Compact), and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; BSN preferred. Shift: Night, travel between WellStar facilities within Georgia (Grovetown area).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of direct ED RN experience
- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
- BLS – Basic Life Support from AHA
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
- PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
