Emergency Department RN provides direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, including triage, assessment, medication administration, monitoring of hemodynamics, and patient-family education. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and specialists, leading and training staff as needed, ensuring safety, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in performance improvement activities. Requires knowledge of cardiac monitoring, pain management, age-specific care, and adherence to department policies.
