Job Summary

Provide direct and indirect nursing care, triage patients to appropriate levels, and direct general patient flow through the Emergency Department. Deliver primary nursing care to patients of all ages while following up on lab and x-ray results. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of nursing care in accordance with policy and procedures. Collaborate with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Requires current Massachusetts RN licensure, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, and minimum two years of relevant nursing experience. Open schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience in a community health and/or ambulatory care setting
  • Current Massachusetts RN licensure
  • ACLS certification
  • BLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • CPR certification
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
  • 36.25 hours/week
  • open schedule including days, evenings, nights, weekend and holiday rotations subject to the needs of the department

Desired Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Three years Emergency Department experience
