Job Summary
Conduct rapid and comprehensive nursing assessments, implement urgent interventions, and evaluate patient responses for diverse populations with emergent conditions. Manage care plans for acutely ill patients, demonstrating expertise in emergency procedures, cardiac monitoring, wound care, and medication administration. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient flow and optimize treatment outcomes while educating families on discharge instructions. Maintain readiness for mass casualty incidents and rapid response activations, adhering to strict safety protocols and documentation standards. Requires active RN license, two to three years of ED experience, and BLS certification. Day, mid, and night shifts of 12 hours with weekend rotation; $17,500 sign-on bonus and relocation available.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Degree from an approved school of nursing
- 2-3 Years Of Experience In Emergency Department Nursing
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing with the North Dakota Board of Nursing or Active Registered Nurse license in a compact state
- Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required
- Good communication skills necessary for constant communication, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, and medical center staff
- Accountable for own conduct and promotes and supports positive working relationships among staff, between other disciplines, departments, families, visitors, and patients
- Maintains confidentiality
- Day, Mid, & Night Shift Required
- 12 hours
- Every other or every 3rd as schedule allowed
- 2 holidays per year
