RN ECMO Coordinator, Medical ICU

Operate the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO/ECLS) Program across Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, and Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, providing day-to-day operational and clinical oversight from cannulation through decannulation. Lead ECMO education and competency validation, support quality and data reporting, and oversee equipment and staffing readiness while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Function as a clinical expert and ECMO Specialist to meet patient care and staffing needs, working closely with physicians, surgeons, perfusionists, nurses, and respiratory therapists. Requires a current RN license, two years of ECMO experience, and critical care background. Full-time role with time and a half after eight hours, weekend and night differentials, and a 24-bed unit ratio of 1:2 (1:1 based on acuity).
