Job Summary
Assess and reassess patient pain, administer medications following the five rights, and document all procedures and assessments in the EMR. Provide age-appropriate care in an office setting while establishing care priorities based on patient needs and office resources. Assist providers with procedures requiring technical and manual skills, and demonstrate knowledge of EKG or cardiac tracing. Maintain current medication knowledge and educate patients and families regarding pain management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or nursing program
- Current New York State Professional Nursing Registration
- BLS Certification
