Job Summary
Lead Quality Improvement, Risk Management, and Medical Staff Office functions while serving as the Patient Safety Officer to oversee compliance and ethics programs. Ensure organization-wide adherence to federal and state healthcare regulations, monitor patient outcomes through data-driven strategies, and oversee accreditation readiness as a liaison with regulatory agencies like CMS and the Joint Commission. Conduct investigations related to compliance concerns, ensure corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety, accountability, and transparency across clinical teams. Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to drive performance improvement initiatives and support implementation of organizational goals related to quality and patient experience. This weekday leadership position operates during standard business hours in Beckley, WV.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in an acute care setting
- Prior experience in quality, risk management, or patient safety
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Experience with regulatory surveys and accreditation processes
- CPHRM and/or CPPS certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
- Strong background in performance improvement and data analysis
