Job Summary
RN Director of Nursing responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure high-quality patient care in accordance with laws and Life Care standards. Role requires managing staff, budgeting, ensuring compliance, coordinating with patients and families, and supervising nursing personnel (CNAs, LPNs). Must have an ASN, active RN license, CPR, and minimum supervisory experience in post-acute settings; duties include data collection/analysis, policy implementation, and ensuring patient safety and rights within an interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an ASN degree from accredited college or university
- Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience in a post acute care or related setting
- CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
