Job Summary
RN Director of Nursing (DON) leading nursing management for a behavioral health/substance use disorder detox center. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, enhancing hospital visibility and community involvement, supervising nursing management, liaising between physicians, patients, referral sources, and employees, ensuring adequate staffing and resources for high-quality nursing care, preparing monthly reports, overseeing patient satisfaction data, and supporting orientation and staff development. Requires a BSN or MSN with Ohio licensure and a minimum of three years of experience managing nursing activities in a detox/behavioral health facility; leadership track through Horizon Leadership Program and competitive benefits are offered.
Required Qualifications
- BSN or MSN in Nursing
- Ohio license to practice nursing
- minimum 3 years managing nursing activities in a detoxification/substance use disorder facility
- background in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and clinical protocols for patient care
- ability to be licensed in the State of Ohio
- BSN/MSN degree holders preferred for leadership role
