Job Summary
Responsible for patient flow sheets, charting, care plans, and education. Operates dialysis machines and ensures quality assurance procedures. Knowledgeable of insurance and Medicare to assist billing. Serves as a clinical resource and liaises between patients and healthcare teams. Reviews patient labs and develops treatment plans. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to handle safety procedures in patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) who has graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current license to practice in the state of Wyoming
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in dialysis nursing including background in fluid and electrolyte imbalances, kidney function and dysfunction
- Knowledge of standard lab values for renal patients and renal diets
Desired Qualifications
- Successful completion of ACLS preferred but not required
- Experience in dialysis nursing
