Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care and dialysis units, including patient assessment throughout treatment and management of dialysis equipment and supplies. Utilize the nursing process to prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice while modeling proficiency through precepting new healthcare staff. Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care within a multidisciplinary team approach. This onsite role requires 6 months of dialysis nursing experience, a current BLS certification, and full-time status (72 hours per pay period) with a pay range of $38.91 to $60.31 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- 6 months of dialysis nursing experience
- BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
