Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in moderate to high acuity Acute Care and dialysis units, managing dialysis equipment and supplies throughout treatment. Conduct patient assessments and utilize evidence-based care models aligned with AMSN and CDN core curricula. Precept new healthcare staff to validate competency and model proficiency within a multidisciplinary team environment. Maintain current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card validity extending sixty days post-hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- 6 months of dialysis nursing experience
- BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire
