Job Summary
RN - Dermatology in Champaign County, IL. Provides comprehensive nursing care within dermatology, including patient and family education, coordination of care for skin conditions, administration of medications and procedures (e.g., skin biopsies with local anesthetic), preceptorship and leadership to improve clinical outcomes, coordination with Nursing Supervisor, and handling prior authorization with specialty pharmacies. Includes in-office education for newly diagnosed skin conditions/medications, telephonic triage, and assisting with dermatology procedures and postoperative care.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association) within 30 days
- Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois IDFPR
- College Diploma: Nursing (Required)
