Job Summary
Clinical leadership role as RN Delegating Nurse in assisted living: oversee nursing care, delegate tasks to caregiving staff, mentor team, coordinate with families and interdisciplinary team, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain documentation, medication administration, and infection control; practice at the top of licensure while supporting residents and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland
- Maryland Board of Nursing–approved Delegating Nurse certification
- Minimum 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric settings
- Knowledge of Maryland Board of Nursing standards for nursing practice and delegation
- Current CPR and Adult First Aid certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Ability to maintain confidential resident information
