RN Days Behavioral Health

Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain medical records while educating families about conditions. Administer medications accurately, document controlled substance counts, and ensure physicians' verbal orders are transcribed appropriately. Notify staff of significant status changes, complete admission and discharge processing, and demonstrate universal precautions during direct care. Exhibit therapeutic rapport with patients, coordinate unit activities, and communicate professionally with visitors and co-workers. Provide 12-hour day shifts every other weekend at Conway Behavioral Health Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas, serving adults and adolescents with mental health and addiction issues.
