Job Summary
Assess patients comprehensively using evidence-based tools, provide nursing care according to established plans, and monitor care delivery to ensure patient safety. Identify changes in patient condition, report findings to providers, and evaluate progress toward clinical outcomes through collaboration with the healthcare team. Maintain accurate medical documentation and delegate tasks to student nurses, nursing assistants, and licensed practical nurses. Float among various clinical services as qualified and competent.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Arkansas RN license
- CPR certification
- ACLS certification (required within 90 days)
- Ability to float among various clinical services
- Competence in walking, standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work in an environment exposed to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and radiation
- Experience with diverse patient populations
