RN CVICU

Critical Care Registered Nurse/Graduate Nurse responsible for providing direct professional nursing care in the CVICU on the day shift (part-time). Graduate Nurse will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and will not assume charge responsibilities. Responsibilities include directing and coordinating nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices, promoting patient health and well-being through the care continuum using the nursing process, and adhering to department and hospital policies and regulatory guidelines. Requires current PA RN license or PA practice permit, BLS and ACLS prior to orientation completion, and the ability to handle stress, emergency/crisis situations, and effective communication. Work location: Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
