Job Summary
Coordinate total nursing care for patients under the direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee. Participate in patient and family teaching while working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Provide care appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served on the CVICU unit. This role supports the Award-Winning Cardiac Surgery program at Charlton Memorial Hospital, working closely with the Catheter Lab and Cardiac Surgery Departments. The position requires a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN licensure in Massachusetts and BLS certification, with Critical Care RN experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
- Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Night shift availability (7:15pm - 7:15am)
- Weekend rotation availability
- Holiday rotation availability
