Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating and delivering high-quality care, administering prescribed medications, assisting physicians during procedures, and collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans. Responsibilities include thorough patient assessments, documentation, infection control, operating medical equipment (e.g., IV pumps, monitors, ventilators), responding to emergencies (CPR/code team), promoting patient safety, patient and family education, and participating in audits and performance improvement initiatives. Includes specialized care for Critical Care and Cardiac Surgery settings with proficiency in managing complex equipment and life-support systems.
Required Qualifications
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support required
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
