RN CV Prep Recovery Cath Lab

Prepare patients for and recover them after cardiovascular and electrophysiology procedures in the CV Prep and Recovery unit. Administer medications, perform procedural documentation, and provide conscious sedation for transesophageal echo procedures while monitoring patients undergoing cardiac stress tests, tilt table tests, and cardioversions. Address psychosocial, physical, and general care aspects, communicate with physicians and families regarding patient conditions, and assist with equipment maintenance and inventory. Participate in departmental performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities under the supervision of the Cardiovascular Services Director, Manager, and CV Prep and Recovery Supervisor.
