Job Summary
Provide top-of-scope direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within a technically complex environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based care models. Prioritize patient wellness and safety while contributing to secure quality at the point of care. Model proficiency by precepting new healthcare staff and guiding individualized specialty education for competency validation. Operate as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting. Requires 6 months of ICU nursing experience, current state RN licensure, and valid BLS/ACLS certifications. Full-time nights shift with a performance bonus and comprehensive total rewards program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of ICU nursing (RN) experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
- BLS and ACLS - BLS and ACLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date
- BLS and ACLS cards must be good through sixty days of hire
