Job Summary
Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols. Responsible for using medical-surgical nursing practices to enhance patient quality of life, and develop and implement patient care plans. Establishes effective communication with patients and families, collaborates with healthcare teams, and applies evidence-based practices. Requires a graduate of an accredited nursing program and relevant RN licenses, plus one to two years of nursing experience based on the float position.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) or equivalent license for Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin
