Job Summary
Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs for patients in the critical care unit. Provide respiratory and ventilator management while assessing, recording, and communicating patient conditions using computerized documentation systems. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and deliver physical and psychological support. Obtain ACLS certification within six months of hire. Bachelor's degree preferred with one to two years of clinical nursing experience. Required Qualifications
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred
- ICU experience preferred
