Job Summary
Assess and reassess patients, develop individualized care plans, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring vital signs and managing respiratory or ventilator support. Change dressings, clean wounds, and coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary team members. Document patient conditions using computerized systems and communicate needs to physicians. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification within six months. Required Qualifications
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred
- ICU experience preferred
