Job Summary
Assess and reassess patients, develop individualized plans of care, and administer prescribed medications while monitoring vital signs, respiratory status, and ventilator management. Change dressings, clean wounds, and maintain equipment, then document patient conditions using computerized systems. Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, manage discharge planning, and communicate patient needs. Requires RN licensure from Tennessee or a compact state, BLS certification, and ACLS within six months; Bachelor's degree preferred with one to two years of clinical experience. Required Qualifications
- RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state
- BLS
- Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- One to two years clinical nursing preferred
- ICU experience preferred
