Job Summary
Interpret the plan of medical care, assess patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, and assure nursing care is provided in a safe and competent manner. Administer medications, monitor patients for reactions, and record vital signs while reporting symptoms or changes in conditions. Consult with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans, modifying treatment as indicated by patient responses. Maintain accurate reports and records, and accurately screen and triage acute patients. Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 0-1 years of clinical experience. Night shift schedule of 36 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree Nursing
- Registered Nurse [RN - State License]
- Basic Life Support [BLS Certification]
- Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year
- Familiarity with the principles and skills needed for practical nursing to provide patient care and treatment
- Knowledgeable of the care required by respective age groups for which care is being provided
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients
