Job Summary
Provide expert, evidence-based nursing care across Wellstar's Critical Care units as part of the W.E.S.T. Float Pool, delivering care to high-acuity patients wherever needed. Elements include managing medications and infusions, responding quickly to emergencies, educating and empowering patients and families, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to maintain the highest standards of care. Requires completion of an accredited nursing program with BSN preferred, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certification, and 2+ years of critical care experience. Float across facilities and units as needed on the Day shift in the Kennesaw, GA area.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (compact or single state) required
- BLS - Basic Life Support from AHA required
- ACLS required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience required
