Job Summary
Provide evidence-based, individualized care using the full nursing process across Critical Care units as part of the Wellstar W.E.S.T. Float Team. Manage complex, high-acuity patients with clinical expertise; safely administer medications and infusions; respond quickly to emergencies; educate and advocate for patients and families; and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to uphold the highest standards of care. This is a part-time Day shift role focusing on float coverage across facilities, requiring adaptability, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active RN license (compact or single state) required
- BLS - Basic Life Support from AHA required
- ACLS required
- CCRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience required
