Job Summary
Provide evidence-based, individualized care using the full nursing process for complex, high-acuity patients. Safely administer medications, infusions, and treatments while responding quickly to emergencies and critical changes in patient condition. Partner with patients and families to educate, advocate, and empower them, while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care. Manage daily float assignments across critical care units and facilities within the Wellstar Enterprise Support Team (W.E.S.T.) to deliver expert care wherever needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN
- Active RN license (compact or single state)
- BLS - Basic Life Support from AHA
- ACLS
- Minimum 2+ years of Recent Critical Care RN experience
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
- Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills
- Highly adaptable, organized, and team-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- CCRN certification
